Today, we celebrate and remember all the brave members of our armed services both living and dead. My father served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and then went on to work his career in federal service for the Navy personnel department. Having survived the Great Depression in the 1930’s and World War II, he and my Mom both were very frugal and wanted to save and reuse everything. For instance, he turned plastic milk jugs into holders for tools or parts. Every piece of paper was rationed during the war, so we grew up as kids twenty years later to minimize our needs and wants. Yesterday, I discovered the small glass yogurt jars make for a great way to organize school supplies as shown in the photo!

We launched Conserve & Pro$per on Memorial Day in 2015 to provide a free public educational service for information on sustainability. Today, we are beginning to offer eCommerce for education and health products as well as environmental hydrogeology consulting services!
